Many of my supportive readers are not cooks. They have a passion for food and cookery both old and new. They collect recipe books to adorn their kitchen shelves and romantically fantasize when browsing through the recipes. BUT NEVER COOK!
It pleases me to know that ardent followers of my culinary writings contact me in amazing ways to request that I write a recipe book. Formalizing cookery within the confines of a recipe is a task I have stubbornly tried to avoid. I believe that there are enough recipe books in the shops to whet all appetites. I also believe that there is nothing new as the principles of cookery never change. It is only the technology that changes.
